Below is just one of the many sites that we’ve installed window graphics using this special type of vinyl that is perforated, allowing people inside to see out, but those on the outside can only see the graphic advertisement. The vinyl is digitally printed on letting you convey any message or apply any image to a window without losing your view.

Need to brighten up your truck or fleet for the coming Spring? Capitol’s truck lettering and graphics team is ready to apply full color digitally printed vinyl to your vehicle.

While Capitol has always been a leader in the awning industry, sometimes other projects come our way that we are able to produce just as well. Take a look at two locations where we’ve designed, fabricated and installed handrails for clients.

It breaks my heart to see an awning in this much pain. Sadly this frame could not be fixed or repaired.

All of this could have been prevented with the help of a Capitol Awning designed, fabricated and installed height pole.

Round two of our look back into Capitol’s history through the beloved Polaroid format…

Here’s a look at Tri Vantage’s new advertisement that uses two of our photos from our work at the Saks Fifth Avenue Manhattan location. In the top left and top right you can see our retractable awnings that are changed seasonally.

Check out this installation (in the snow!) at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn. We’ve updated the location from the RBI5 design to the new 2015 design. Here are the before pics…

And now for the new awnings!

Thousands of years ago, before the interweb and beepers, Capitol employees had to use Polaroid cameras to capture images of completed and installed awnings…
Ok, seriously, we are going to take you back in time a little bit here with our new series of vintage Capitol Awning photos. Maybe it wasn’t “thousands of years ago” but Capitol has been installing awnings for a very long time. I’ve dug in our archives to bring you some of the more interesting photos of jobs from the past in all their glorious Polaroid format. Keep an eye on our blog for more vintage posts. Enjoy!

Take a look at this freshly installed entrance canopy. I really like this peaked roof design leading back to a shed awning at the glass vestibule. It brings the whole building’s entrance together and is really inviting. When can I move in?
